Vacation
After you successfully complete your probationary period, you will be entitled to vacation at the rate of 1-5/6 of a workday for each month of service
Vacation may accrue only to the maximum earned in a two year period.
Additional Vacation details:
You must request your vacation time in writing, in advance equal to the number of vacation days being requested. Also, please note that your vacation does not accrue while on leave without pay or while on long-term disability.
Sick Leave
Paid sick leave is available to employees who are absent from work due to illness or injury.
Employees represented by Local 888 are granted 22 workdays of paid sick leave upon hire and will accrue paid sick leave at the rate of 1.75 workdays for each full month of service.
Paid sick leave will accrue to a maximum of 130 workdays.
