Students Interested in Attending Boston University
Students who are eligible through their parent’s employer to apply for Tuition Exchange and who wish to apply to Boston University should contact the Tuition Exchange Liaison Officer at his/her sponsoring institution for information on applying for the scholarship. For academic year 2014-2015 the scholarship will be awarded to ten (10) students who are planning to enter their freshman year of college in the Fall of 2014. The tuition award at Boston University is $32,500 for the 2014/2015 academic year.
All Tuition Exchange scholarship application requests must be received by the Boston University Tuition Exchange Liaison Officer no later than January 1st, 2014.
Students will be selected for the Tuition Exchange Scholarship based on a comprehensive review of their application for admission. Those students most competitive for this scholarship will have distinguished themselves through outstanding performance in a rigorous high school curriculum and demonstrated leadership in their schools and communities. In addition, the Board of Admissions will consider standardized test scores (SAT or ACT), essays, as well as teacher and counselor recommendations.
The Tuition Exchange process is totally separate from the admissions process at Boston University. Boston University Admissions information may be obtained by contacting the Office of Admissions.
