Events That Affect Participation

It is important that you understand how your dental benefits are affected when you experience a life event (e.g., marriage, divorce, birth or adoption, retirement, total disability or taking a leave of absence) or how your dependents’ coverage is affected should you die.

You also have the option of continuing your dental coverage through COBRA after you retire or otherwise leave Boston University.
