Organizational Research Related to Quality of Care
The HPRP works closely with the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Boston-based Center for Organization, Leadership, and Management Research (COLMR). Current activities are focused on developing research to examine organizational and managerial best practices that promote quality improvement and patient safety within the VA health system. HPRP participants in these research activities include Alan B. Cohen, Joseph D. Restuccia, Michael Shwartz, and Sally K. Holmes. Research proposals have been developed and submitted to the VA’s Health Services Research and Demonstration Program and to the federal Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality.
