Move-in checklist for new students:

  • When you arrive on campus, check in at the residence office for your assigned residence. There you will be given the keys to your residence.
  • Go to the Terrier Card Office, located at 775 Commonwealth Avenue, lower level, Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., to take a photo for and receive your Terrier Card. You must bring with you a state- or government-issued photo ID (such as a passport or driver’s license).
  • To help you prepare for your move to campus, read about furnishings, what to bring, mail, telephones, and more in Safety & Services.
  • If you plan to live on campus, you must have completed your Housing Interests Survey and submitted your $650 enrollment deposit. You will be contacted by telephone or e-mail with your room assignment in early January. At that time, you will also be given your check-in site, on-campus mailing address and telephone number, residence and dining plan charges, roommate’s name, and additional information regarding spring move-in.
