New Terrier Card Information Available
As soon as you arrive on campus for the fall semester please pick-up a new, pre-printed Terrier Card at the Terrier Card Office. You will need the new Terrier Card for use in the all-you-care-to-eat dining rooms, Barnes and Noble
at Boston University, on-campus retail establishments (including the Union Court and City Convenience stores), on-campus vending machines and residence laundry rooms.
Freshmen and Transfer students:
You will receive your Terrier Card at Orientation. If you did not receive a card then go to the Terrier Card Office.
The Terrier Card Office, located on the lower level of the George Sherman Union, 775 Commonwealth Avenue, is open Monday through Friday – 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and during Labor Day weekend from 9 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
There is no cost for your initial new Terrier Card; we do ask that you turn in your current Terrier Card in exchange for your new card.
The University is no longer using the Boston University Identification (BUID) number for dining plan and Convenience Point transactions. Therefore, it is critical that you have a new Terrier Card if you have a dining plan or Convenience Points plan. The BUID number will still be used for residence access, FitRec access and library privileges.
