Summer 2012 housing information released; air conditioned rooms to be available
Boston University Housing is pleased to announce that air conditioned rooms will be available to students for the Summer 2012 sessions. Students will have the option of requesting air conditioned double- and single-occupancy dormitory-style rooms in 575 Commonwealth Avenue this summer, which represents the first time BU Housing has been able to offer air conditioned housing to our summer students. Most of the rooms in 575 Commonwealth Avenue are double-occupancy, and all of them include private bathrooms as well as air conditioning. In addition to the air conditioned rooms in 575 Commonwealth Avenue, BU Housing will continue to offer dormitory- and apartment-style housing in small brownstones on Bay State Road and in South Campus. These rooms and apartments are not air conditioned.
Space is limited, and assignments are made in date received order. More information about summer housing for the 2012 sessions, as well as the official residence and dining plan rates for summer, can be found in the Summer Housing section of our website.
