Why did you choose SHA? How did your SHA education impact your career? I came to SHA with a passion for hospitality. I was eager to learn more about the many parts of the industry, especially hotels. I was able to gain both the skillset and knowledge to land various roles in Boston-area hotels, mainly within hotel operations. I have been able to pivot into the consulting industry where people skills and a passion for excellence are key to drive value for Clients. Without SHA, I would not be where I am today! I am a proud graduate of both the undergraduate (’17) and MMH (’20) programs.
Would you like to share any advice for current and prospective students? SHA is a perfect place to network and grow your skillset. Be open to any and all opportunities, take advantage of onsite events and the wonderful staff. Like everything, the experience is what you make of it. Never be discouraged and trust that hard work truly pays off.
