Irma Mann earned her reputation in the hotel and travel industry working with clients such as the Islands of The Bahamas, Hong Kong Tourist Board, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Best Western, ITT Sheraton, Foxwoods, Sonesta Hotels, Le Meridien, and restaurants throughout the United States. In 1999, she sold her company, Irma S. Mann, Strategic Marketing, Inc., which she had developed into the largest female-owned marketing agency in New England. In September 2000, Ms. Mann formed a new company, IRMA, Inc., which focuses on consulting with senior executives on marketing, development, and management issues. She is a senior advisory to Hill Holiday in their Strategic Consulting department. Ms. Mann is an international overseer for Tufts University as well as a governor of the Tufts Medical Center. She is a founding member of the boards of The Commonwealth Institute and The Boston Club. In 1997, the YWCA named Ms. Mann to their Academy of Achievers and NEWBO (New England Women Business Owners) named her their Woman of the Year.
