      Hugh AndrewsHugh Andrews is president of International Hospitality Enterprises, Inc., based in San Juan, Puerto Rico. One of the most recognizable and respected names in the Puerto Rican hospitality industry, Mr. Andrews is responsible for the successful redevelopment and repositioning of many of the island’s leading properties since the mid-1970s, including the Wyndham Condado Plaza, Wyndham El Conquistador Resort & Country Club, and El Convento Hotel. He serves as chairman of the Puerto Rico Hospitality Industry Scholarship Foundation and as director of Scotiabank of Puerto Rico, trustee of Ashford Presbyterian Community Hospital, and treasurer of Robinson School in Condado. Since 1999 he has also served as the honorary consul in Puerto Rico for the Republic of Bolivia. Governor Sila Calderón recently named Mr. Andrews to the board of directors of both the Tourism Company of Puerto Rico and the Puerto Rico Convention Bureau.
