Brian Shockley

Brian oversees all aspects of the daily operations of the School of Hospitality Administration. He works closely with the dean, professors and University-wide departments to successfully manage the financial, academic, staffing and building maintenance components. Brian is available to meet with current students for support, as well as prospective families to provide a detailed program overview.

Jen Salman

Jen provides support to the assistant dean in finance processes.  She organizes program events, administers our mobile iPad labs, Visix system, social media and website. Jen assists professors with iPad preparation for teaching. providing support and technical maintenance.

Abby Raspallo
Director, Student Services

Abby focuses on providing current and transfer students with guidance on course requirements, registration, tutoring, academic standing, graduation requirements, and many other academic issues. It is important that you check in with Abby at least once a semester to ensure you are on track and will graduate on time. Incoming freshmen are introduced to their college academic life through summer orientation sessions with Abby.

Marta Wyrodek

Marta equips SHA students with the necessary tools to be successful with the career-related aspects of our degree. She is available to meet one-on-one for resume advice, interviewing skills and internship/job opportunities. Marta’s outreach to corporate recruiters nutures industry relationships to bring companies to campus for recruitment, mock interview sessions and developmental skills workshops. Marta meets with all students from freshmen through seniors. Over their time at SHA, she will assist in the process of discovering what segment of the hospitality industry best suits them for a career position upon graduation.

Lucy van Beever

Lucy provides support to the dean. She coordinates the SHA class schedule, petitions, scholarships, student activities, work-study students and administers the kitchen.

Heather Rule
Staff Coordinator

Heather provides administrative support to the faculty, senior management team and SHA career services. She coordinates technology scheduling, prospective student visits, SHA events and manages the reception area as well as the SHA student lounge.
