Brian oversees all aspects of the daily operations of the School of Hospitality Administration. He works closely with the dean, professors and University-wide departments to successfully manage the financial, academic, staffing and building maintenance components. Brian is available to meet with current students for support, as well as prospective families to provide a detailed program overview.

Ahlea Isabella

Ahlea provides support to the Assistant Dean with finance processes and organizes program events.  She manages our website, administers the mobile iPad labs, Visix system and social media. Ahlea assists professors with iPad preparation for teaching. providing support, training and technical maintenance.

Abby Raspallo
Director, Student Services

Abby focuses on providing current and transfer students with guidance on course requirements, registration, tutoring, academic standing, graduation requirements, and many other academic issues. It is important that you check in with Abby at least once a semester to ensure you are on track and will graduate on time. Incoming freshmen are introduced to their college academic life through summer orientation sessions with Abby.

Marta McManus
Director, Career Services and Corporate Relations

Marta equips SHA students with the necessary tools to be successful with the career-related aspects of our degree. She is available to meet one-on-one for resume advice, interviewing skills and internship/job opportunities. Marta’s outreach to corporate recruiters nurtures industry relationships to bring companies to campus for recruitment, mock interview sessions and developmental skills workshops. Marta meets with all students from freshmen through seniors. Over their time at SHA, she will assist in the process of discovering what segment of the hospitality industry best suits them for a career position upon graduation.

Lucy van Beever
Assistant to the Dean
BS, Cornell University

Lucy assists the Dean and Assistant Dean in all educational, academic, development, travel, research and administrative functions.  As the liaison to University relations, Lucy supports School initiatives, faculty searches & reappointments, curriculum approval, and development & alumni events.  She designs class & final exam schedules; supervises faculty support and work-study students’ projects; oversees annual SHA-hosted events; and facilitates student-group activities and prospective student visits.  Lucy also coordinates the Dean’s Distinguished Guest Lecturers, publication of SHA’s Check-In magazine, administration of the teaching kitchens and serves as the Secretary to the Dean’s Board of Advisors.

Ashley Arone
Staff and Alumni Coordinator
BS, Belmont University

Ashley provides administrative support to the faculty, staff, SHA career services and our alumni. She manages alumni outreach for School and organizes alumni events. Ashley also coordinates technology scheduling, prospective student visits, SHA events and manages the reception area as well as the SHA student lounges.
