He works closely with the dean, professors and University-wide departments to successfully manage the financial, academic, staffing and building maintenance components. Brian is available to meet with current students for support, as well as prospective families to provide a detailed program overview.

Mary Callas

Marketing and Operations Manager

Mary manages marketing and communications efforts.  She manages our website, social media channels, email marketing the and Visix system. Additionally, she provides support to the Assistant Dean with finance processes assists faculty with technology training and support. She is also the co-editor and webmaster for the Boston Hospitality Review industry journal.


Meg Andrews
Director of Student Services

Meg focuses on providing current and transfer students with guidance on course requirements, registration, tutoring, academic standing, graduation requirements, and many other academic issues. It is important that you check in with Meg at least once a semester to ensure you are on track and will graduate on time. Incoming freshmen are introduced to their college academic life through summer orientation sessions with Meg.


Micah Sieber

Micah oversees all aspects of the Masters of Management in Hospitality program. He meets with students to guide them through the application, admittance, and registration process and is looking forward to traveling in Boston and throughout the country to meet interested students.

Meredyth Thomas
Director of Career Services & External Relations

Meredyth equips SHA students with the necessary tools to be successful with the career-related aspects of our degree. She is available to meet one-on-one for resume advice, interviewing skills and internship/job opportunities. Meredyth’s outreach to corporate recruiters nurtures industry relationships to bring companies to campus for recruitment, mock interview sessions and developmental skills workshops. Meredyth meets with all students from freshmen through seniors. Over their time at SHA, she will assist in the process of discovering what segment of the hospitality industry best suits them for a career position upon graduation.

Paula Maxwell
Assistant to the Dean

Paula assists the Dean and Assistant Dean in all educational, academic, development, travel, research and administrative functions.  As the liaison to University relations, Paula supports School initiatives, faculty searches & reappointments, curriculum approval, and development & alumni events.  She designs class & final exam schedules; supervises faculty support and work-study students’ projects; oversees annual SHA-hosted events; and facilitates student-group activities and prospective student visits.  Paula also coordinates the Dean’s Distinguished Guest Lecturers  and serves as the Secretary to the Dean’s Board of Advisors.

Maureen Ricciuti

Maureen provides career counseling and coordinates employer relations outreach for SHA students during the academic year. She also assists in executing on-campus corporate recruitment events including employer informational sessions and interviews.
