Please email with your name, class year, BU ID, home school if you are not currently in SHA and 3 available dates & times and a career services staff member will contact you within 24-48 business hours to set up an appointment.

You may access our schedule of events on our Recruitment, Workshops and Events webpage.  To register for a workshop or event, log into Handshake and click on the ‘workshops’ tab in the Events section.

Visit Handshake and look under Events and then Info Sessions or visit our Corporate Recruitment page.

Visit Resources, log in and scroll down to locate resume resources or download the SHA Job Hunting Strategies Guide, which has sample résumés and tips for creating your own.

Visit, Resources, log in and scroll down to located the cover letter resources. Sample cover letters and other professional correspondence can be found by downloading the SHA Job Hunting Strategies Guide or BU Center for Career Development Cover Letter Guide.

You can participate in mock interviews, or access InterviewStream through Handshake. You may also consult the SHA Job Hunting Strategies Guide, Resources, or visit the Mariott Career Center.

  • Review Resources section on Job/Internship and use of the many links, internship guides and other resources.
  • Search Handshake for the desired job or internship, upload your résumé and cover letter if required, and click “apply.” If you’re selected for an interview, the employer will contact you.
  • Use our BU School of Hospitality LinkedIn page, Facebook, and Twitter to follow job postings.
  • Read the Weekly Marriott Career Center Newsletter to learn of more opportunities.
