Our degree program requires two 400 hour work experiences. To assist you in fulfilling these, SHA’s Career Services has lined up a busy schedule full of workshops and hiring opportunities.  Create a résumé, sharpen your interviewing skills and participate in corporate recruiting events to see what the hospitality industry has to offer.  Please note: all SHA students are welcome at corporate presentations, including freshmen!  You don’t have to be selected for an interview to attend.  Log on to BU CareerLink for complete details.

Things to Keep in Mind

  • Always know a company’s deadline and application process.
  • Deadlines can’t be extended under any circumstances.
  • If you’re selected for an interview, attendance at corporate presentations is mandatory. The company, date, time, and location will be listed on
    BU CareerLink.
  • Business attire is a must for interviews and strongly encouraged for presentations.
  • Research companies before you interview. Recruiters want to know why you want to work for them specifically.
