Robert Derba

As president and founder of Derba & Derba Company, Robert Derba specializes in consulting and recruiting executive hospitality personnel. His corporate career with Raytheon Co. and the A.W. Chesterton Co. encompassed college relations, college recruiting, marketing planning, and sales management. One of the original franchisees of Roth Young Personnel Inc., executive recruiting and personnel consultants in consumer-related industries (food, retail, and hospitality), Mr. Derba owned and operated offices in Boston, Philadelphia, and Miami. Earlier in his career, he served as president of and partner in the landmark restaurant and function facility, The Towne Lyne House in Lynnfield, Massachusetts. He has directed and managed over one thousand placements and searches in all functional areas within the consumer-related industries, and in recent years has focused on the hospitality industry, specializing in private clubs and resorts. Mr. Derba belongs to the University Club in Boston, Massachusetts, and has also served as president of that organization. He is a member of the National Club Association.
