Open Access, Copyright, Publication: What's Yours, and Why Does It Matter?
- Starts: 12:00 pm on Wednesday, February 20, 2013
- Ends: 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 20, 2013
Conversations around open access (OA) have been increasing in number and
importance both at BU and in academe at large in the last few years. A
number of open access initiatives at BU aims to bring more resources to
our researchers -- and to make our research output more available to
others. You're invited to a presentation and discussion of open access
initiatives at BU. We'll lay out some of the issues affecting the nature
of our work, describe BU's participation in the OA movement, and highlight
direct implications of OA for faculty and graduate researchers at all
levels. We'll also describe some services available to you at the BU
Libraries, and solicit your feedback.
