History PhD Kate Jewell Innovates the U.S. History Survey
In a recent contribution to Teaching United States History, BU History Ph.D. Kate Jewell, currently Assistant Professor at Fitchburg State University, redesigns the U.S. History Survey course. Jewell recommends two US History collections, including one edited by BU Professor Bruce Schulman, Making the American Century: Essays on the Political Culture of Twentieth Century America.
