Get Involved

A special note on the Coronavirus situation:

Dear BU Hillel Friends, we want you to know we are thinking of you, and hope wherever you are, you are safe and healthy.

And we want to thank you for your support of BU Hillel.  Helping students live meaningful, joyous, Jewish lives has never been more important than now.

Since we launched Virtual BU Hillel just a week ago, we have had an overwhelming positive response from BU students. Each week, we are averaging 100+ interactions and conversations with BU students.  The vast majority of BU students are feeling scared, anxious, stressed, disappointed–and alone. They are so grateful to be connected with their friends and Hillel professionals, to have a space to openly talk and reflect on what is so unprecedented, and to do so in a deeply Jewish way. We need your support more than ever in this unprecedented time. Please see ways to get involved below.

In addition to investing the financial resources needed for Jewish life at Boston University to thrive, there are a number of ways your time can make a difference for BU students. Please reach out to Ethan Sobel at to discuss the best way for you to get involved.
