Each year the Boston University Community remembers the events of World War II and the Holocaust with a commemorative reading of the names of all those who perished. This year we ask that you join us on April 28th -Holocaust Remembrance Day (Yom Hashoah), in our effort to never forget the lives that were lost. The reading of the names will take place on Marsh Plaza on Monday April 28th from 10:00am until 6:30pm. If you are interested in taking part, please sign up for a 5 minute shift when you will have the honor of reading the names of some of the victims. Please fill in all of the information required -- be sure not to write over an already filled slot. After you have signed up, you will be contacted to go over the specific processes regarding the organization and instructions for the reading of the names. Also on April 28th there will be a candle lighting ceremony that will take place on Marsh Plaza at 6:30pm and the performance of The Banality of Love at Morse Auditorium at 7:00pm. We hope that you can join us for these commemorative events. For more information, please contact Rebekah Heath at rcheath@bu.edu
