Nomi grew up in Providence, RI and attended Maimonides School in Brookline, MA. After high school, Nomi spent a gap year in Israel on Young Judaea Year Course. In 2007, Nomi joined Garin Tzabar and enlisted into the Israeli Defense Forces, serving two years as a combat soldier in Israel’s Home Front Command. Nomi returned to the U.S. to begin her undergraduate degree, receiving a BA in Religion and Jewish Studies from Northeastern University in Boston. Nomi is currently working at Boston University Hillel as the IACT Coordinator/ Birthright Programmer. So far she has staffed 10 Birthright trips! She will be leaving BU Hillel at the end of the 2016-2017 academic school year.
