Hillel Executive Board Elections 2010

This is your opportunity to choose the student leaders who will plan, design, execute and evaluate Hillel[s programs for the next calendar year.
- All current students of Boston University are eligible to vote. Please bring your current BU ID with you to the Hillel lounge on the second floor.
- Candidates will each present a speech preceding the elections and have the opportunity to respond to questions.
- Students who wish to declare their candidacy for a position should speak to Kip Lombardo ASAP.
If you would like to apply for a position, complete and submit this application to Kip Lombardo, Director of Student Activities.

- Oversee everyone
- Run Board meetings, make agendas
- Attend adult board meeting
- Attend regional president meeting
- Liaison with outside world, including: International Hillel, Student Government, Boston Jewish Community
- Establish vision in consonance with all of the people of the Hillel community
- Be cool, be a force, be present
|

- Take notes at board meetings, RLC meetings, and at Programming council meetings
- Post minutes on bulletin board and on our website
- Regularly check community feedback outlets, etc.
- Ensure lobby is kept orderly
- Enable effective communication between officers and remind people of their assigned tasks

- Oversee PR and Outreach
- Convene Kosher Dinning Council
- Chair the RLC
- Fundraise
- Organize phonathon (recruit callers and organize incentive programs)
- Devise other means of fundraising for the Student Board
- Work with development
- Step in for President if the President is unable to fulfill his or her duties

- Manage bank account- student budget
- Review and evaluate budge proposals from satellite groups
- Work closely with Susan
- SUAB work
- Program-specific fundraising
- Work with necessary parties to manage Student Board funding

- Coordinate mega-events, lead by example
- Oversee, chair programming meetings (with satellite groups, once a month)
- Manage programming ideas- beginning of year hold a workshop for all satellite
