Red Hat Colloquium: “Networking as a First-Class Cloud Resource”, Rodrigo Fonseca (Brown University)

Rodrigo Fonseca is an associate professor at Brown University’s Computer Science Department. He holds a PhD from UC Berkeley, and a MSc and BSc from UFMG.  In this talk, Rodrigo will look into why tenants, apart from connectivity, have very little to choose from in terms of network properties such as priorities, bandwidth, or deadlines for flows, and whether networking could be treated as a first-class resource.
