Ms. Truong has been working in the banking sector for thirteen years as a financial officer, credit officer, and chief accountant. Currently, Ms. Truong works as the Manager of Treasury for the Legal and IT division of Vietcombank Financial Leasing Company. Her responsibilities include capital management, particularly maturity and interest risk management. Ms. Truong is also in charge of legal matters for the company and the development of technology to meet management demands. She participated in Vietcombank's overall restructuring program aiming at bringing its activities in line with international practices. She is currently involved in the Ministry of Finance's Project for Vietnamese Accounting Standards.

She also works as a consultant for Danida (Danish International Development Assistance Agency) for its Rural Water and Sanitation Project in Vietnam.

Ms. Truong graduated with a bachelor's degree in banking from the National Economics University of Vietnam, a bachelor's degree in law from Hanoi University of Law, and a master's degree in development management from Asian Institute of Management in the Philippines.
