Ms. Mirambeau has worked in the banking industry for more than twenty years; first, for Royal Bank of Canada and then in Banque de Credit Immobilier/Capital Bank. She was the director of Marketing and Advertising for more than 5 years. Since October 2003, she has been the Director of Public Relations of Capital Bank and through her efforts Capital Bank became more involved with the needs of the community. During the last decade, she has volunteered to assist teenagers with job searching and career training. She is involved in Femmes en Democratie, an active feminist organization in Haiti, and has worked with women dealing with emotional problems. She is also a longtime volunteer at a community radio station in Haiti. She holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Ecole de Commerce Julien Craan and also a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Institut National d'Administration, de Gestion et des Hautes Etudes Internationales. In July 2002, she attended training seminars on fundraising and radio communication in the United States sponsored by the State Department.

During her Humphrey year, Ms. Mirambeau intends to enhance her skills and training in communication and build a professional network. She plans to launch a radio program in Haiti targeting women dealing with crises.
