Mr. Kossi Segnedji is a senior manager of the administrative and legal department of Fucec-Togo, the biggest microfinance network of Togo. For the past eight years, his mission has been to set up legal mechanisms to secure savings and lending operations for the great majority of low-income populations to promote financial inclusion and alleviate poverty. Specifically, he ensures the realization of mortgage and debt recovery and assists the General Management and Board of Directors in making strategic decisions.

In 2021, he created his own legal firm of consulting. As International Consultant certified since 2019 by the Court of Appeal of Lomé (Togo), Mr. Segnedji provides relevant advice in business and tax law for financial industry and judges to make good rulings.

During his Humphrey program, he plans to focus his research on digital financial services regulation facing blockchain technology, taxations, securities, alternative dispute resolution and managing performance, as well as deepen his leadership skills. He intends to have professional affiliations with U.S. regulatory institutions or consulting firms and financial institutions. At the end of his fellowship, he will implement his new knowledge and experience in his country for economic development.

Mr. Segnedji holds master’s degree in Business and Tax Law at University of Lomé.
