Ali Idouz

Morocco


Mr. Ali Idouz currently works for the Court of Audit, the Supreme Audit Institution of Morocco. He started there in 1999 as an auditor (financial magistrate), where he checked, investigated, and judged the accounts of government offices and various public institutions and organizations in sectors as diverse as agriculture, fisheries, energy, and customs. Now, he is also a communication consultant responsible for organizing many workshops and committees by working with the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI). His duties include supervising many supreme audit institution collaborations, particularly with the U.S. Government Accountability Office.

From 1993 to 1999, Mr. Idouz worked with the Ministry of Justice as a specialist in public contract management.   

In 1993, Mr. Idouz received a bachelor’s degree in public administration from the National School of Public Administration, and in 1997, a master’s degree in communication from the Higher Institute of Communication and Information in Rabat.

During his Humphrey year, Mr. Idouz will develop his expertise and experience in performance audit in the United States and study best practices in this field. He also intends to acquire the required skills and techniques to develop a communication strategy for an auditing agency.
