The Humanities Foundation has available several substantial endowment funds for library acquisitions: Class of 1933: All Humanities Departments Sylvia B. Gitner: History Department Ted Kyrios: Immigration, Ethnic Studies, Greek Literature Bashka Paeff and Samuel Montefiore Waxman: Portuguese, Spanish, Latin American Literature Kenneth Setton: Greek and Latin Classics, Medieval and Renaissance History of Europe Special library acquisitions include such projects as purchasing a significant private library, the complete run of a journal, an important manuscript, or a major publishing project. These funds are meant to supplement, not replace, the normal library purchasing fund. Proposals should specify the importance of items beyond an individual's research area. View the proposal form.
