REHABILITATION OUTCOMES &
EFFECTIVENESS RESEARCH
Boston University's Health & Disability Research
Institute is pleased to offer Two-year post-doctoral fellowships
in rehabilitation outcomes and effectiveness research for rehabilitation
scientists.
The goal of this initiative is to provide Post-Doctoral Fellows
the opportunity to acquire the research skills necessary to conduct
high quality, independent research, funded on the outcomes & effectiveness
of rehabilitation care. The program will offer to each fellow:
- Intensive instruction in advanced research
design and contemporary measurement methodology offered by
Faculty at Boston University.
- Opportunities to conduct rehabilitation
outcomes research under the guidance of a Faculty Mentor from
Boston University.
- Experience in public speaking, professional
presentations, grant writing and scientific publications.
EACH FELLOW WILL RECEIVE:
- $36,000 in salary support/year
- Individual Health Insurance coverage
- A primary research mentor for the duration
of the Fellowship
- Tuition Stipend for four graduate credits
at Boston University
- Research computer workstation " Travel
allowance to present their Fellowship research at Professional
conferences and meetings.
- Access to the Fellows Research Seminars
coordinated by Faculty Mentors
