Office of Creative Services
The Office of Creative Services combines the efforts of three central departments to create superb visual communications for the academic and administrative departments of Boston University.

Our staff of professional designers, photographers, typesetters, writers, editors, proofreaders, print buyers, and project managers have literally hundreds of years of combined experience in agency, corporate, government, academic, and non-profit communications, as well as commercial printing and publishing. As a University Service Center, we keep our creative rates low so that you receive high quality results for an affordable price.
Design and Print Communications
The Office of Design and Print Communications (formerly the Office of Publications Production), designs and produces print publications and advertising for University clients ranging from simple invitations and forms to flagship pieces like the Undergraduate Viewbook, the Commencement Redbook, and Research at Boston University. Our office manages the University Bulletins program on behalf of the Office of the Provost; manages and maintains standards for University seals and nameplates, and for stationery on the Charles River Campus; oversees the University's copy centers; and serves as the "agency of record" for Boston University advertising.

New Media
The Office of New Media develops and implements creative, results-oriented online concepts for high-visibility, high-priority areas of Boston University. In our work, we emphasize branding, technology, quality of written and visual content, and information architecture to achieve client objectives. New Media also collaborates with clients to translate existing branding materials to web and multimedia projects.

Photo Services
Photo Services creates and maintains an archive of original photographs for Boston University. These images appear in advertising, recruitment and marketing brochures, viewbooks and catalogs, "Research at Boston University," slide presentations, Bostonia and other alumni publications, BU Today, news releases, and university Web pages. Clients may request a photo shoot tailored to their project or select from our archive of images dating back to 1950.
