Research Travel Grant
Research Grant: For students planning to visit an archive, attend a training workshop, or use a research facility.
Due to graduate student need, the GSO is piloting this new travel grant program that specifically supports research travel.
To qualify for a Spring 2016 grant your trip must occur between December 1, 2015, and May 31, 2016, outside the Boston area.
Deadline to apply for Spring 2016 grants: Thursday, October 15th, 2015, 11:59 PM
During this pilot program, the GSO will awards two travel grants for travel during Winter/Spring 2015/16 (exact dates listed above) to facilitate graduate student research. Each award can be as high as $500. Travel grant winners are selected the semester before the trip is taken, but awards are not distributed until after receipts are submitted.
Who is eligible: Any graduate student from a department represented at 3 or more GSO meetings in Fall 2015. (see below for attendance to date) Anyone from your department can represent your department at a meeting, even you. A list of people who have recently represented your department (if anyone) is available here.

It is important to sign in and record what department you are representing, otherwise your department will not be recorded as having been represented.
Applications must be emailed as a word document to the GSO at email@example.com. Applicants who submit via email will receive email confirmation of receipt. PLEASE DO NOT send applications via USPS or campus mail, as applications received by these methods will not be considered.
