Boston
University Libraries
Mugar
Memorial Library is the
main research library on the Charles
River campus and the primary library
for study, teaching, and research
in the humanities and social sciences
for Boston University. There are
several specialized branch libraries
within the Mugar system: the African
Studies Library, the Astronomy Library,
the Beebe Communications Library,
the Frederick S. Pardee Management
Library, the Music Library, the Pickering
Educational Resources Library,and
the Science and Engineering Library.
Additionally, the University has
several other major libraries with
professional staff: the Howard Gotlieb
Archival Research Library, the Pappas
Law Library, the Medical Library,
the School of Theology Library, and

Computing
Resources
Boston University's Office
of Information Technology provides
computing facilities and Internet services,
including e-mail, for students, faculty,
and staff. The Arts and Sciences Computing
Services Group provides computing
facilities in labs on the third floor of
the Arts and Sciences building at 685 Commonwealth
Avenue, as well as technical support and
equipment.
Bookstore
Barnes
& Noble at Boston University,
the University's official bookstore, offers
an extensive selection of text, reference,
and general reading books, insignia merchandise,
and supplies. The store is located in
Kenmore Square at 660 Beacon Street and
is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-9
p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; and Sunday,
noon-6 p.m. Rush hours at the beginning
of each semester supplement the regular
opening and closing times. Call the bookstore
