Join us for a conversation with BU alumnus and former Peace Corps volunteer, Brian Woerner, as he recounts his journey of global engagement and leveraging BU resources to help him build an international social impact honey company.

Honey tasting to follow, provided by Follow the Honey from Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Meet the Speaker

Brian Woerner is a former Peace Corps volunteer to Guinea, West Africa, where he spent time learning about fermentation and the art of beekeeping.

Upon his return to the United States, he connected with Cambridge-based Follow the Honey, a company established to develop the sales link between unseen, marginalized beekeepers from around the world to markets, and co-founded its sister company, Follow the Honey Tanzania, Ltd.

He recently completed an MBA and MA in International Relations at Boston University, while working on operations, strategy, and sales for Follow the Honey.
