Orientation

BU Global offers a variety of orientation events designed to officially welcome international students to Boston University.

Our goal is to help you get the most out of your experience in Boston by aiding your transition as you settle into campus and your studies. During your BU Global orientation, you will get to know your classmates as you:

  • Learn about campus resources, including libraries, computer laboratories, and sports and recreation facilities
  • Take a campus tour
  • Receive an introduction to living in Boston
  • Review the case study method of instruction and other academic matters unique to the American system of education
  • Visit Boston University offices that can assist you during  your studies
  • Engage in teambuilding exercises

All BU Global orientations begin in the BU Global office at 755 Commonwealth Avenue.
