BU Global Welcomes KOITA to Campus

Members of the Korea Industrial Technology Association (KOITA) will join BU Global this summer for the Executive Program in R&D Technology Management at Boston University. Developed by BU Global in partnership with KOITA, the program offers an intense, week-long academic curriculum for Korean executives seeking practical, hands-on experience in research and development technology management.

Participants will explore topics such as project communication, conflict management, new product development, supply chains, product commercialization, enterprise strategy, and risk management. Case studies and site visits to leading technology companies provide first-hand exposure to innovative R&D models.

The Executive Program in R&D Technology Management is coordinated by Boston University Professor Barry Unger. A recognized innovator and expert on high technology and venture capital businesses, Professor Unger has founded and participated in numerous companies, and is a recipient of the Vincent Fulmer Lifetime Service Award from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Professor Unger has customized the Executive Program to address the specific interests of KOITA, such as the use of market research to guide R&D priorities; principles of business development; and exposure to the U.S. legal and financial arena.

The excellence of the program is further complimented by sessions imparted by Boston University professors such as Marcus Goncalves, Vijay Kanabar, Barry Unger, and Roger Warburton.
