Graduate Certificate in Information Technology

Beginning January 2010, Boston University will be offering graduate level information technology programs in the Republic of Macedonia. These programs will provide students with comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in state-of-the-art areas of IT and their enterprise implementations.

APPLY credits from this certificate toward the online Master of Science in Computer Information Systems, which is accredited by the Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS)—and the Master of Science in Computer Information Systems has additional accreditation from the Project Management Institute (PMI). |
Courses
The Graduate Certificate in Information Technology consists of four required courses for a total of 16 credits.

Blended eLive Format
The innovative, blended eLive format combines the benefits of face-to-face classroom sessions with comprehensive, multimedia online study. The first week of this seven-week program consists of three in-class sessions with Boston University faculty in Skopje. The following five weeks of study are online, and include two hours per week of synchronous, interactive lectures. The final week of the program concludes with three more in-class sessions, including the final exam.

Admission Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Proof of knowledge of the English language
- TOEFL (paper-based): 560
- TOEFL IBT: Total Score of 84 - Reading 21, Listening 18, Speaking 23, and Writing 22
- IELTS: 6.5
- A completed application
