For Boston University Students
The Global Health Initiative is fostering numerous opportunities for students to become engaged in global health and development activities, including campus wide events, discussions with senior health scholars and leaders, on-line discussions with BU faculty through the GHI Pulse and exploring academic options in international health. For example, a new dual masters degree is being developed by the Department of International Health at the School of Public Health and the Department of International Relations in the College of Arts and Sciences. In addition, the School of Public Health together with the College of Arts and Sciences has created a public health minor for undergraduate students, and a new pharmaceutical management track has been launched for MPH students in several departments of the School of Public Health. Professional & Continuing Education
Boston University and the BU School of Public Health are committed to providing practical, skill-based education for new and mid-career professionals by offering shorts courses and certificate programs on international health, english as a second language and other related topics.
