Strategic Priorities
The Global Health Initiative has adopted three key priorities that map with specific strengths at Boston University and offer synergistic possibilities for addressing current global health challenges. The geographic nexus and primary focal point for GHI’s activities is India, and in certain cases, the region more broadly. The vision for the BU-India program is to develop a sustainable model of long term and multidimensional partnerships with institutions in India and the region across the public, private and academic sectors, and to engage BU faculty and students across a range of disciplines, including medicine, public health and the health sciences, the social sciences, humanities and arts, engineering and management, and communications and science and medical journalism.
