Scope of Work:

As part of a large project that focused on vulnerable populations in Ghana, we collected qualitative data relating to retention in HIV care in Ghana. We have a detailed report with the findings, and now would like student assistance identifying the most interesting findings and drafting a manuscript for publication. This will include doing research for the background section of the manuscript. We would like one or possibly two students to help with this project, which comes with the opportunity to be included as an author.

Minimum Skills Desired:

Good writing is required. Experience writing a background section (with brief literature review) would be helpful. If the student(s) has an interest in conducting some sub-analyses in NVivo, that would be a plus, though this analysis may not prove necessary.

Time/Date Expectations:

Expected total time need is 60-80 hours. Dates are flexible, but starting in January of 2017 would be ideal, with 4-8 hours per week our estimate of the time needed.

Location: Flexible. Can be done anywhere, but monthly meetings with two members of the evaluation team would be good.

Application request: CV and a writing sample.

Number of Positions: One or Two (1-2) depending on time availability of the student(s).
