Professor Feeley Seeks Research Assistant
I have just reconnected with a Russian colleague and we have agreed to write a paper comparing approaches to improving the availability of quality primary care in the US and Russia. I need a student to help me with a literature review on US efforts, including aspects of the Affordable Care Act designed to increase the supply of primary care physicians or make them more effective (Medical Homes, payments for patient management, etc). In addition, we will need to assemble some date on the historical trends in the US physician workforce.
Alas, no grant to support this, so I cannot pay, but it should be an interesting change to look at the US health care system and compare it to Russia.
