GDRS Student Lauren Kerby Wins Writing Program Outstanding Teaching Fellow Award

Congratulations to GDRS student Lauren Kerby on winning the Writing Program Award for the Academic Year 2016-2017!

Writing Program students praised Lauren’s dedication, expertise, accessibility, and, most importantly, for how much taking her class has helped them with their writing.

Lauren’s student evaluations have been consistently superb, with recent semester averages of 4.8 in both Overall Course Ratings and Overall Instructor Ratings. She has also been an active citizen and leader in the Writing Program. She co-led a Writing Program faculty seminar (the first graduate student in the history of the Writing Program to lead a faculty seminar), and was a part of the program’s Faculty Issues Committee last year.

We are overjoyed with Lauren’s impressive achievements, and look forward to posting more exciting news from her. Way to go!
