Raising children can be a joy and a challenge. Single parenting, blended
families, and step–parenting provide their own unique experiences.
It is often hard to know if a child's behavior is within the developmental
norm or whether a special intervention is required. New or unusual life
events—births, illness, and death can also impact on the well–being
of a child.

- Neglect of previously enjoyable activities
- Puzzled about finding effective and appropriate discipline
