EEOICPA
The DOE has established a program that is administered by the Department of Labor to provide financial compensation to Former Workers of the DOE who suffer from beryllium disease, chronic silicosis, and certain cancers that have been found to occur more frequently in some populations exposed to radiation. Former workers who find out about health conditions which may be related to their work at a DOE facility will receive information about how to apply for benefits under the EEOICP. This medical screening program, however, does not decide who receives compensation for DOE site related health conditions.

Former Workers who would like more information about how to apply for compensation through the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program should contact the EEOICPA Resource Center toll free at 1-866-888-3322.
