Level 2: A Comprehensive Survey of Wine

Dates: Meets for fourteen weeks; January, May and September start dates
This course has no prerequisite and is the first level in our program designed for wine professionals and advanced enthusiasts. This intensive survey course offers detailed knowledge of wine through tastings, lectures, and assigned readings and is helpful for those who wish to enter the wine trade or those already in the industry who want to hone their knowledge. By the end of Level 2, students will be able to:
- Exhibit detailed knowledge of wine regions, grape varieties, and styles.
- Demonstrate refined tasting ability.
- Understand the inherent characteristics of wine.
