International Conference on Food Styling and Photography

This intensive conference is sponsored by the Master of Liberal Arts in Gastronomy at Boston University and co-chaired by Lisa Golden Schroeder and John Carafoli, international food stylists, writers and culinary consultants. John Carafoli is the author of Food Photography and Styling, and Lisa Golden Schroeder is the founder of foodesigns.com, an online resource for professional food stylists and photographers.

With a strong emphasis on creative thinking for professional food stylists and photographers, this conference concentrates on the business of creating compelling food images for effective visual communication, and features panel presentations from leading international food stylists, photographers, and design professionals.

Our first conference, held in 2007, was a great success. The 2009 conference promises to be even better, with new topics to explore and distinguished speakers. Food scientist Harold McGee will be the keynote speaker.
