Music of the Romantic Period, with Virginia Eskin

Description

This program will feature music from the Romantic period presented by Virginia Eskin, noted pianist and lecturer. Cellist Tim Roberts and soprano Diane Cushing will join Eskin to perform works by such celebrated composers as Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin, Brahms, Fauré, MacDowell, Debussy, and Beach.

    World-famous pianist and teacher Virginia Eskin will be lecturing on and playing the works of Robert Schumann and Franz Liszt, as well as works by Edward MacDowell, who was greatly influenced by Schumann and Liszt.
