Personal Chef Certification with John Vyhnanek


If you are looking to reinvent yourself, or to make a career change, consider the life of a Personal Chef! In today’s fast-paced world, culinary skills are in demand more than ever before, as working people often lack the time and confidence to prepare their own meals at home.

Personal Chefs offer meal preparation for families or individuals, and sometimes cater in-home meals for special events. These professionals have become popular for their abilities to produce good, honest home cooking as well as more luxurious fare for their clients.

The Personal Chef Certificate Program will teach you how to start your own business through a series of instructional seminars covering topics such as managing expenses, planning menus, food preparation, and service. The seminars will also provide an introduction to professional equipment and preparing quality foods. Students will write a business plan and learn how to start and set up a business in terms of taxes, liability, sales, and profit.

To receive the “Personal Chef Certificate” you must attend all four sessions and prepare a business plan, to be handed in at the fourth session (all business plans will be held in confidence).
