Knowing Your Place: Blind Tasting American Wines From the East and West

Description

Join Sandy Block, MW, Vice President of Beverage Operations, Legal Sea Foods, and Boston University Wine Studies/Gastronomy instructor, along with Patrick Dubsky, Proprietor of Winestone, in Chestnut Hill, MA, for an evening of eating, drinking, and guessing! This "blind" tasting will feature American wines representing the fertile west coast as well as the up-and-coming eastern U.S., but specific wine identities will be withheld until the end of the night. Sandy and Patrick will lead you through a tasting of multiple varietals from various regions and you will attempt to identify styles, characteristics, producers, and overall identities. All wines will be paired with specially selected foods, which will add a layer of complexity to the guessing game. Prizes will be awarded to the best guessers!
