No Such Thing as Italian Food

Many experts believe that rather than having a

“national cuisine,” Italy instead has many regional

cuisines that reflect local topography and customs.

Mary Ann Esposito, host of TV’s Ciao Italia, and

her husband Guy, an expert on Italian wines, will

present three sessions on regional Italian food

and wine, focusing on the north, central, and south.

Mary Ann will demonstrate authentic methods of

preparation; Guy will lead tastings of each region’s

wines; and throughout the weekend, participants

will enjoy three meals that celebrate the diversity

of Italian cuisine.
