The Basics of Starting Your Own Food Business with John Vyhnanek
Whether you want to start a cafe, pizza shop, restaurant, pub, catering company or food shop, you will need a plan and expert advice on how to go about it. (*Personal Chef certificate program is available, see below)
This 6 Saturday certificate course at Boston University's Metropolitan College will be held from 9 AM to 1:30 PM on October 20, 27, November 3, 8, 15 and 22, 2007, and will be taught by John Vyhnanek, a restaurant consultant, small business owner, culinary instructor and chef. You will also have access to other foodservice and business professionals who will share their insights into the process during a panel forum. *Personal Chef program will be held on October 20 and 27 from 9 AM to 5 PM. The afternoon session of each class will cover Personal Chef specific information.
Certificate requirements---Attend all 4 sessions and prepare a business plan to be handed in at the 4th session. (Business plan to be held in confidence)
