A Master Class with the Masters: World of Pinot Noir, a Two-Day Immersion

Description

In collaboration with the Seaport Hotel, Bill Nesto and Sandy Block, New Englandís only resident Masters of Wine Ė and senior lecturers at Boston Universityís Elizabeth Bishop Wine Resource Center Ė will present a two-day immersion course and provide insights into wine's most fascinating grape as well as lead tutored tastings of the world's best and most interesting Pinot Noirs. The finale of each day is a dinner featuring pairings of the Pinot Noir wines with cuisine at two of Bostonís finest restaurants.

Day 1:  Pinot Noir in France (Burgundy, Champagne, Alsace, and Sancerre), Italy, Germany. Dinner at Icarus, located in Bostonís historic South End.

Day 2:  Pinot Noir in the United States (California and Oregon), Chile, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. Dinner at Legal Seafoodís flagship restaurant in its wonderful wine room.

Classes are held at the Seaport Hotel.
Registration includes the two-day immersion seminar and all wines, lunches, and dinners.
