The much admired French chef, Pierre Franey, whose influence on the food industry in the United States was tremendous, was a great mentor to Jacques Pépin both at the Pavilion and Howard Johnson’s, a pioneer in fast food. Join us at Lumière in Newton as Jacques reminisces about his friendship with Pierre. Chef Michael Leviton and his talented staff at Lumière will create a five-course menu with paired wines, celebrating great dishes from the Pavilion and favorite treats from Howard Johnson’s.
